Kanna (Sceletium tortuosum) contains active alkaloids with a strong psychoactive effect; due to the specific interaction with brain chemistry, strict compliance with the safety instructions below is required.

• Minimum Age & Storage: This product is intended solely for individuals aged 18 and older. Always store the product in a safe, dry, and dark place, strictly out of reach of children and pets.
• Medical Contraindications: Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Kanna acts as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). Use is completely excluded for individuals with psychological or physical complaints that have not been coordinated with a medical specialist.
• Interactions: Do not combine with alcohol, other drugs, or medications. It is absolutely forbidden to use Kanna in combination with antidepressants (SSRIs such as Seroxat or Prozac), Monoamine Oxidase inhibitors (MAO inhibitors such as Peganum harmala, Banisteriopsis caapi, passion flower, or yohimbe), or (in short succession with) MDMA (XTC). This can lead to serotonin syndrome, an acute and potentially life-threatening overload of the serotonin system.
• Driving Ability: This product affects responsiveness. Participation in traffic (including by bicycle, fatbike, or as a pedestrian) and operating machinery is not permitted during and immediately after use.
• Risks & Side Effects: Kanna affects dopamine and serotonin receptors, which can lead to tolerance and psychological dependence with frequent use. Daily use is therefore strongly discouraged. In addition, Kanna is known to significantly and unpredictably intensify the effects of alcohol and cannabis.
