• Not suitable for persons under 18 years of age.
• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Do not drive or operate machinery after use.
• Do not combine with alcohol, medication (especially MAO inhibitors or antidepressants), or other drugs.

Contraindications (When NOT to use?)

You should not use this product in the following situations:

• Psychiatric disorders: Do not use if you or your immediate family members have a history of psychiatric disorders, such as psychosis. Use can activate latent mental health issues or severely worsen existing complaints.
• Mental instability: Use is strongly discouraged if you are not mentally stable or if you have difficulty letting go of control.
• Medication use: Absolutely contraindicated when using specific medications. This applies in particular to antidepressants (of the SSRI or TCA type), MAO inhibitors, pain medication (such as tramadol), dextromethorphan (DXM), antihistamines, and antihypertensives. Always discuss medication use well in advance with a medical specialist.
• Combination with other substances: Do not combine with stimulants or other drugs such as amphetamine, 4-FA, cocaine, and MDMA (XTC). Combining with specific smartshop products such as kratom, St. John's wort, and kanna is also dangerous.
• Tyramine-rich food (with Ayahuasca): Due to the MAO-inhibiting effect, Ayahuasca must not be combined with foods rich in tyramine (such as aged cheese, red wine, and soybeans). This can lead to a dangerous accumulation of tyramine in the body.
• Use without expert guidance: Consuming Ayahuasca outside of a controlled, expert setting is strongly discouraged due to the unpredictable and intense nature of the experience.

Possible Risks and Side Effects

The use of DMT and Ayahuasca carries serious physical and psychological risks.

Short-term risks:

• Psychological complaints: Acute confusion, graph anxiety (a so-called 'bad trip'), repetitive negative thoughts (thought loop), suspicion, paranoia, and fear of death.
• Acute psychosis: Triggering a temporary psychotic episode with delusions and hallucinations.
• Physical symptoms: Acute nausea, severe vomiting, and diocese.
• Serotonin syndrome: A potentially life-threatening condition that can occur when Ayahuasca is incorrectly combined with certain medications, drugs, or supplements.
• Hypertensive crisis: An acutely and dangerously elevated blood pressure, particularly in the interaction between MAO inhibitors and tyramine-rich food or specific drugs.
• Impaired judgment: Significantly reduced ability to correctly assess situations and dangers.

Long-term risks:

• Respiratory damage: Risk of damage to the lungs and airways, specifically when DMT is smoked.
• Chronic mental health problems: Activating or worsening long-term psychological disorders. Individuals with a genetic predisposition run a significantly increased risk of triggering a long-term psychosis.
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): The risk of developing PTSD, characterized by constant hypervigilance, anxiety or crying fits, and avoidant behavior, as a result of an overwhelming or traumatic experience.

Note on dependence: The likelihood of developing a physical or psychological addiction to these substances is considered small.
