The climate is changing at a pace that demands action. That's why Novus Fumus has chosen to collaborate with DHL.

Starting in May 2022, Novus Fumus will ship all its parcels to consumers climate-neutrally, including those outside the Netherlands. As a DHL partner, we support Gold Standard-certified projects and actively contribute to large-scale nature restoration across Europe. Every year, we receive an SGS-validated certificate detailing our total offset and the offset projects we've invested in together with DHL. We're proud of this and eager to share it with our customers as inspiration. Because together, we want to make a difference.

Green on the way

DHL has the largest electric fleet in the Netherlands. By 2025, they aim to achieve emission-free last-mile deliveries to Dutch consumers using their own vehicles. To achieve this, they are investing heavily in their fleet. The delivery vans, bicycles, and DHL StreetScooters, which they manufacture themselves, all run on electricity. Where necessary, they use hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO): a biodegradable fuel.

Send less air

Novus Fumus has chosen to ship as many parcels as possible using Envelobox, an environmentally friendly packaging. With the Envelobox, we send less empty air because the packaging is more closely aligned with the product being packaged. The cardboard is made from recycled cardboard and is unbleached. We are also working to adapt our product range so that we can ship almost everything as letterbox-sized parcels.

But we're not done yet. This year, we want to completely eliminate the use of fillers and plastic tape, and we're holding our suppliers accountable for environmentally harmful packaging.
