Product Forms within Joy from Nature Botanicals
Most product names combine a common name with the botanical name of the plant, so you know which species you are dealing with. The three herbal blends in the collection are an exception to this: they have their own product name without a botanical name. Within the collection, you can distinguish the following product forms.
Dried Plant Material
Most botanicals consist of dried plant material: whole or cut leaves, flowers, petals, and root bark. Examples include the leaves of Chacruna and Caapi, the flowers of Blue Lotus and Sacred Lotus, and the root bark of Jurema and Voacanga. This material is usually supplied in 25 or 50-gram quantities.
Seeds

Various botanicals are available as an extract or resin, identifiable by a designation such as 10x, 20x, 25x, 40x, or 50x, or a name like UB40 or ET2. This designation is a product label from the supplier and not a concentration or strength measure verified by us. Resin is the designation for a concentrated, resinous extract, such as Blue Lotus 20x Resin or Caapi 20x Resin. Extracts and resins are typically sold in smaller quantities, usually 1 to 5 grams per package.
Herbal Blends
Alice In Wonder, Blue Mountain High, and Aphrodite Elixir are herbal blends of multiple botanical ingredients, formulated for brewing an herbal infusion. The exact composition and proportions of each blend are listed on the respective product page.
