Filter Tips & Tips: The Essential Base for the Perfect Joint
A great session starts with the right foundation. Whether you’re an experienced roller or just getting started, a quality filter tip determines airflow, stability, and ultimately the full flavor experience. We’ve selected the best materials so you can always get the most out of your herbs.
Why a Quality Filter Tip Makes the Difference
A tip is much more than just a mouthpiece. It serves as the foundation of your build. When you choose professional filter tips instead of a random piece of cardboard, you’ll immediately notice the difference in your experience:
-
Optimal Airflow: Good tips prevent your joint from collapsing or clogging. You draw smoothly and evenly.
-
Hygiene and Comfort: A filter keeps loose crumbs and ash out. No more unwanted “scooby snacks” on your tongue.
-
Structural Stability: A sturdy tip helps your joint maintain its shape, even when passing it around.
-
Flavor Preservation: Using the right materials prevents unpleasant aftertastes from ink or chlorine.
Different Types of Filter Tips: Find Your Match
In our shop, you’ll find the right option for every preference. It’s all about balancing convenience with a pure experience.
Paper Tips (Classic & Unbleached)
The most popular option. Available in various styles. Looking for the purest experience? Choose unbleached filter tips. They are free from chlorine and unnecessary chemical treatments, allowing for a cleaner, more natural taste.
Activated Carbon Filters
For those who prefer a smoother experience, activated carbon filters are an excellent choice. The carbon filters out a large portion of tar and unwanted substances from the smoke without affecting the character of your herbs. The result? A cooler, less harsh draw.
Glass Tips for Connoisseurs
Want to truly upgrade your session? Glass tips are reusable and provide exceptionally pure flavor transfer. Because glass does not absorb odor or taste, the terpenes in your joint can fully express themselves. After use, simply clean them and they’re ready for next time.
Personalize Your Build with Color and Size
Looks matter too. That’s why we offer filter tips in a wide range of colors and designs. Whether you prefer subtle brown, sleek black, or bold colors like pink, blue, or green, you can give your joint a personal touch. Also consider the size: Slim for a refined build, or Wide for a sturdy conical shape.
The Art of Folding: M for Marijuana or W for Weed
An experienced roller doesn’t just roll up a tip randomly. Create a small accordion fold at the beginning of your tip — forming an “M” or a “W.” This creates an internal grid that adds extra stability and acts as a smart barrier against ash. It only takes a few extra seconds, but the improved airflow and sturdiness are well worth it.
Still perfecting your fold or want to see exactly how to create that M or W step by step? No problem — we’ve got you covered.

Frequently Asked Questions About Filter Tips
Are all tips made from the same type of cardboard?
No, there are significant differences in fiber structure and thickness. Quality tips don’t tear easily and remain flexible, helping them maintain their shape inside rolling papers.
Can I reuse filters?
Paper tips are intended for single use. Glass tips and some activated carbon filters (depending on the type) can often be reused if properly maintained.
Does a tip block active compounds?
No, a well-designed filter tip allows active compounds and terpenes to pass through while helping to block unwanted particles such as ash.

Veelgestelde vragen
