A rolling tray gives you a solid surface for rolling a joint. The raised edge keeps loose tobacco or herbs on the tray, while your rolling papers, tips & filters, grinder and lighter stay within easy reach. At Novus Fumus, you’ll find rolling trays in different sizes, materials and designs, from compact metal trays to rolling boxes with extra storage space.
Which rolling tray suits you?
Choose the size based on how much space you need. A small rolling tray is easy to store and take with you. If you also want to keep a grinder, lighter and other accessories on the tray, a medium or large model is more practical.
Also consider the shape of the edge and the weight of the tray. A high or rounded edge helps keep loose material on the tray. A lightweight tray is easy to move, while a heavier model sits more securely on the table.
Metal, wooden and plastic rolling trays
Metal rolling trays
Metal trays are thin, sturdy and easy to clean. They are available in a wide range of prints, colours and designs, making them a practical choice for everyday use.
Wooden and bamboo rolling trays
Wooden and bamboo trays are generally heavier and often have a more detailed layout. Some models feature cut-outs or separate compartments for rolling papers, tips & filters or other accessories. Avoid using too much water when cleaning wood or bamboo.
Plastic rolling trays
Plastic trays are lightweight and easy to move. There are simple models with just a raised edge, as well as versions with additional holders or compartments.
Rolling tray or rolling box?
A regular rolling tray is an open work surface with a raised edge. A rolling box combines a tray with additional storage space. Depending on the model, it may include a lid, compartments or cut-outs for accessories.
A standard tray is sufficient if you mainly want a good surface for rolling. If you want to keep rolling papers, tips & filters, a grinder and other accessories together in one place, a rolling box is the more practical option.
