Golden Teacher Grain Spawn

Golden Teacher grain spawn consists of grain on which the mycelium has already developed. Unlike a standard growkit, the spawn hasn't yet been combined with a pre-mixed substrate in a container of fixed size. This gives loose spawn more flexibility than a ready-made growing kit.

Golden Teacher is one of the best-known Cubensis varieties. It's recognisable by its gold to caramel-coloured caps and firm, light-coloured stems. Under suitable conditions, the fruiting bodies can grow relatively large, giving Golden Teacher its distinctive appearance.

Why choose Golden Teacher?

Golden Teacher is known for its robust mycelium and reliable growth pattern. This variety has been popular among growers for years and is often chosen for its combination of recognisable fruiting bodies and strong genetics. Working carefully and cleanly remains important when handling grain spawn.

In terms of potency, Golden Teacher is generally described as strong. The effects are often associated with noticeable visual changes, a more intense experience of thoughts and surroundings, and a more introspective character.

The main difference compared to a growkit is flexibility. With a growkit, the amount of substrate and the size of the growing kit are already fixed. With loose Golden Teacher spawn, you decide how much substrate to use, giving you less dependence on a fixed scale or setup.
