Sterilized Grow Bag

The sterilized grow bag is a ready-to-use growing solution in which grain and substrate are already combined in one sealed bag. At the bottom is the sterilized grain, with a separate layer of substrate above it. Thanks to the integrated injection port, the bag can be inoculated with liquid culture without needing to be opened.

Because the grain and substrate remain separated during the first phase, the mycelium can first develop through the grain. Once the grain is fully colonized, both layers can be mixed together within the sealed bag. This keeps the material protected from unnecessary exposure to the environment throughout the process.

Why choose a sterilized grow bag?

The main advantage of this grow bag is that several steps are combined in one package. The bag contains both the grain and the substrate and can remain closed throughout the entire growing process. After mixing, the contents can continue to grow, and the bag can eventually be used as a growing environment itself.
