Tarot of Magicians (A Magical Fairy Tale World)

The Tarot of Magicians is a tarot deck entirely dedicated to magicians, sorcerers, and the occult. The deck was developed by Peter Frampton, who worked on it for about a year to create a tarot deck based on historical knowledge of magicians and magical traditions.

Theme: Magicians and the Occult

A magician or sorcerer has traditionally been seen as someone who practices magic and possesses supernatural powers. Where the mystic or religious practitioner often relies on a higher power to reach other levels of consciousness, the magician attempts to direct this themselves. Through visualization, rituals, and magical procedures, this tradition sought contact with the dead, demons, gods, or natural forces. This concept forms the common thread of the illustrations and symbolism in the Tarot of Magicians.
