Windproof design since 1932
The classic Zippo is deeply rooted in American culture and has been synonymous with robust quality for decades. While ordinary disposable lighters blow out at the slightest gust of wind, this brand uses a smart, perforated chimney around the wick. As a result, the flame burns constantly, even in harsh weather conditions. Moreover, you can immediately recognize an original model by the characteristic metal 'click' as soon as you open the lighter. You can find these timeless classics conveniently organized in our headshop.
Durable construction and endless variety
Zippo lighters are designed for long-term reuse. Instead of throwing the lighter away after use, you simply refill the interior with lighter fluid. The flint and wick can also be replaced effortlessly over time, meaning the lighter essentially lasts a lifetime. Thanks to the sturdy metal construction, they can take a beating, making them ideally suited for outdoor activities, camping trips, or daily use. In our range, you can choose from a wide variety of finishes:
- Brushed Chrome & Brass: The traditional, minimalist metal versions with a matte or glossy texture.
- Matte & Street Finishes: Colored and scratch-resistant coatings with a contemporary, rugged look.
- Engravable models: Sleek designs that serve perfectly as a personal gift or stylish accessory.
Maintenance for optimal ignition
To guarantee the reliability of your lighter, we recommend using only original Zippo fluid and parts. This prevents soot buildup and ensures a clean, odorless ignition every time. We package every order completely discreetly and neutrally. Are you ordering €50 or more worth of accessories within the Netherlands? Then we will ship your package completely free of charge.
Warning (18+): This product is intended for adults only. Always keep lighters, fuels, and other ignition devices strictly out of the reach of children and minors.
How do you refill an original Zippo lighter?
Pull the metal inner part (the insert) out of the outer casing. Lift the felt pad at the bottom and carefully drip Zippo lighter fluid onto it until the underlying cotton is saturated. Then slide the insert firmly back into the casing.
How often should you replace the flint?
This depends on how intensively you use the lighter. As soon as the fire wheel turns stiffly or hardly any sparks come off it, the flint is worn out. You unscrew the screw at the bottom of the insert to easily place a new stone.
