The Ara Wisdom Tepi Red is a handcrafted instrument from the Huni Kuin tradition, intended for use during Rapé rituals. Its design is inspired by the Ara parrot, an animal associated with stories, wisdom, and connection to the jungle within Huni Kuin culture.
Craftsmanship and Materials
This Tepi is handmade by master craftsman Paolo. He carefully combines selected stones or crystals with handcrafted clay and finishes the Tepi with traditional Huni Kuin Kene patterns. Sometimes, bamboo or animal bone from the jungle is also incorporated. Due to this artisanal method, each Tepi is a unique piece, with slight variations in shape, color, and pattern.

Origin and Tradition
