Depending on the individual piece, it may also incorporate bamboo or animal bone sourced from the jungle. This artisanal process ensures that each Tepi is a unique item, and variations between pieces may occur.
Origin and Symbolism
This Tepi is crafted within the traditions of the Huni Kuin family and the Santo Daime practice from Brazil. Within these traditions, the Ara parrot is considered a protector of stories and a symbol of the connection between humans and nature. This narrative is reflected in the design of this piece.
